Alex Trugman American Idol Audition
Watch Alex Wagner Trugman sing Baby Come To Me by James Ingram after asking Randy Jackson to provide backing vocals during American Idol Auditions at Phoenix Arizona for Season 8.
I think Randy didn’t know the lyrics to the song and so cut the audition short. But this guy Alex, though visibly nervous was able to take on Simon – when asked to name 3 countries (apparently Simon’s pet way of embarrassing contestants’ geography knowledge), he said Abkhazia, which is to some countries a part of Georgia, to some an independent country and to others Russian-occupied territory. And then offers to sing Simon, God Save The Queen.
Alex’ effort was strained but decent enough to bypass Simon’s veto.

I like this kid. If he makes it past hollywood, I predict he’s in the top 5. Seriously.
