Tonight, Alexandrea Lushington – one of the Top 10 girls contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sang the Chicago song If You Leave Me Now.
The judges didn’t take to this performance particularly, but I thought it was pretty cool. But I guess Randy Jackson’s point about it being too safe a choice at this stage makes sense. I just tried singing it and it came off fine. So ya, he’s right.
