Amanda Overmyer Sings Kansas Carry On My Wayward Son
Tonight, Amanda Overmyer – one of the Top 10 girls contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sang the Kansas song Carry On My Wayward Son.
A song I like got murdered tonight. The only good thing that came out of this was that at least even if two week’s late, the judges finally even things out with Robbie Carrico by questioning Amanda Overmyer’s authenticity. As I’ve said earlier. She’s as much rock as is Carrico – just that she’s been at it a little longer. Smoky vocals or whatever it is that comes out of this gypsy wannabe, it’s time to leave. Can’t take too much more of that attempt at a sneer that she pulls out while singing. It’s more like that of a 6 year old whose lunch box has fallen into the wrong hands.
