American Idol Auditions Winners | Best of Rest

Watch American Idol auditions entitled ‘Best of the Rest’ that chronicle audition rounds from all over the country and feature the best winners – contestants/ performances and singers that won a ticket to the second Hollywood round. This video includes:

Alesha Stelzl – hot pretty girl who first sings Celine Dion’s I Surrender. Paula and Randy believe she has the tone of Dolly Parton and ask her to learn up a Dolly Parton song and return, despite Simon giving her a big NO. Quite amazingly she returns and actually sings a Dolly Parton song quite well. Credit to her, cos absurd as it seems, she hadn’t heard Islands In The Stream before. Wonderful to watch.

Amy Davis – Lowell, Indiana – Hottie whose maternal grandmother is Japanese – a couple of generations later, the old lady’s eyes have become one of the most striking features of her granddaughter, apart of course, from another feature that lies around a foot below them. Sings Blue Bayou by Roy Orbison. The Linda Ronstadt version is one of my favourites and it was good not to see it getting murdered.

Joanne Borgella – sees herself as the voice for ‘average-sized’ women to accept themselves for what they are. She doesn’t disappoint with one of the best Season 7 Idol auditions singing Celine Dion’s I Love You beautifully.

Cardin Lee McKinney – confident and beautiful, she sings One Night Only from Dreamgirls.
