Alexis Cohen – From Pennsylvania, this veterinarian hopeful who looks like a washed out hippie possessed by the spirit of Janis Joplin sang Somebody To Love by Jefferson Airplane. She sang quite ok actually; guess the judges didn’t like the overall package. Her audition left her pissed. Watch her scream and rant and curse again and again and again after being given the boot.
Udi Udgeet Sampat – A corporate guy who works in finance he actually claims he’s a cross between Frank Sinatra and MC Hammer. Watch his Hammer moves coupled with terrible singing.
Mark Hayes his audition skills don’t extend beyond being able to imitate and mimic the sound of a cricket.
Temptress Browne – This big momma plays football for her school and is here for the auditions basically for her mom who’s not keeping well. Sings Jennifer Hudson’s I’m Not Going. Doesn’t make it but gets a round of hugs from the judges, who except for Simon Cowell seem a bit patronizing.
Alaa Youakeem – Sings Bee Gees How Deep Is Your Love. Has a crush on judge Paula Abdul and phonetically learnt the song. Simon Cowell makes it really hard for Paula Abdul who squirms while trying to explain why Alaa can’t quite cut it.
