Yet another victim to the vocal prowess of Freddie Mercury this season (apart from Michael Johns’ Bohemian Rhapsody, of course). I’ve seen even Elton John flounder on this one in live performances, so a bad song choice. I doubt she’ll go home the way Simon Cowell suggested, but bottom 3 is very likely. And what’s up with these judges – at some part of the season they’ll be slobbering all over a contestant only to be dismissive in a later stage.

I actually really really enjoyed this performance of Show Must Go On, it was so unexpected and so much better than even my beloved David Cook’s confusing choice of Innocent. I completely got it coming from Carly.
