Two really fine performers together – that this was their first live performance of the song kind of showed and so rather than watching it as a duet, it looks better concentrating on the individuals. All the touring and experience gained clearly comes through in Carrie’s performance as you can see how honed her incredible natural talent has become. Listening to her, you wonder – other than Adam Lambert, who could you see in the current crop sounding so good in a live performance a few years down the line. And of course, Randy Travis with his eccentric mannerisms – always super to watch.
