Danny Gokey was fantastic to watch during Hollywood week with super performance after performance. Since then it’s not so much his singing but his smug personality that has become annoying to watch. This performance with the horrid white jacket, the bursting white light on stage, and lyrics that include Jesus in them seemed designed to project a preacher or angel spaketh-ing to everyone.
