Well this post is way too late to even bother commenting on how good it was etc. Have to agree with Simon though. It was great but not as mindblowing as the others made it out to be. The problem with some of the Idol judges is they hype a contestant so much, it works to the contestant’s disadvantage sometimes. We saw it last season with Carly Smithson, Michael Johns and eventually with David Archuleta. Just hope Danny is allowed to progress at his own pace cos he’s a fabulous singer – you can almost see it beginning to enter into his demeanour – self-indulgence and martyrdom – he’s good enough to be in the Top 3 without any of that.
