Danny Noriega Sings Carpenters Superstar on American Idol
Tonight, Danny Noriega – one of the Top 10 guys/boys contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sang the song Superstar made most famous by the Carpenters.
The beginning of this clip is quite funny with Danny Noriega talking of how he used to be in a punk rock band. There’s a photo shown from those days where it looks like two teen girls cosying up to each other. Noriega is one of the better male singers, but then, he’s too busy seducing the camera. As also effectively pointed out by the judges.
