Cool song choice from one of the best American rock bands of the 90s. Vocally it didn’t seem as effective as some of Cook’s other knockouts. Credit though, for his guts to take on a new song rather than rely on tested performances. If he’d gone for a previously done song, I’d have liked him to do a song from a similar genre as this one – one that’s been done to death by Idol and which he himself did during his Hollywood Round – I’ll Be.
