When David Cook announced he was gonna do Switchfoot and the crowd shrieked, he remarked, “Oh, you’ve heard of it”. Ya, like Switchfoot is some cliquey band privy only to ‘rockers’ like David Cook. Considering he gave in a pretty shoddy rendition (performance and otherwise), Cook’s smugness at the end of it all was weird – watch Paula Abdul turn in her comments while Cook messes around with his guitar strap – least interested.
