David Cook Sings Hello On American Idol

Tonight, watch David Cook – one of the Top 8 guys/boys contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sing the song, Hello by Lionel Richie.

One of the two best vocals of the night along with Jason Castro. But I really didn’t get all the fuss with his guitar. It hardly seemed to make any contribution to the song and was merely there with its distortion effect turned up as a prop to his pursuit of Chris Daughtry’s success. But he’s one of the better vocalists around with or without his calculated seductive sneer.
