Tonight, Garrett Haley sang the classic song, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do by Neil Sedaka during the 1st Round of the top 24 contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7. An absolute classic that’s also been done wonderfully by The Carpenters, Garrett Haley’s performance of the song was flat and emotionless throughout and caused Simon Cowell to remark that he looked like he’d been locked up in a room for a while.
