Watch Jason Castro who was eliminated this week from Season 7 of American Idol perform the Bob Marley song I Shot The Sheriff for the last time on the show after being voted/booted out.

To be honest, when Jason Castro started out I never thought he was gonna make it to the Top 4. Not for reasons of ability but because I didn’t think he could retain the focus. Well, Jason learnt the ropes pretty fast, the whiff of ambition seemed to draw him in for a while and then it all began to fall apart again. Which is a good thing possibly. Cos there could be a lot more freedom on display in the records he gets to make. Looking forward to hearing some original music by Jason Castro.
