Joanne Borgella Sings I Say A Little Prayer
Tonight, Joanne Borgella sang the Dionne Warwick song, I Say A Little Prayer during the 1st Round of the Top 24 contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7.
Joanne Borgella chose a song that is a Hollywood favourite and has been used (and misused) in scenes where the mood rapidly rises towards the ecstatic. So the problem with such a choice is that it’s almost impossible for anyone to satisfy while performing this live. I didn’t find it as bad as the judges particularly Simon Cowell made it out to be.
