Tonight, watch Kady Malloy – one of the Top 8 girls contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sing the Queen song Who Wants To Live Forever.
One of the best songs to come out of the 80s, once again it’s Freddie Mercury and those incredible vocal chords. Seal is probably the only singer I’ve seen actually pull this song off live. Kady Malloy in what was drummed up as her last real chance on the show seemed nervous at the start. It was really good in patches and then she’d get into that singing-from-her-neck thing. In an ideal world she’d get another chance to show she’s better than some of the over hyped singers here, but that’s most probably wishful thinking. Another show goes by with another of my favorites on the exit.
