Kristy Lee Cook Eliminated: Elimination Song American Idol Results

Aaaah. Watch Kristy Lee Cook who was eliminated this week from Season 7 of American Idol perform the Mariah Carey song Forever for the last time on the show after being voted/booted out.

Another one of my faves bites the exit door dust. A good video to watch, with Kristy Lee Cook starting off the song right in front of Simon Cowell (who had shared his blunt opinion at the start of the video) – Simon looks quite perturbed with her proximity. So is Simon Cowell a long range (distance) cynic, cos I’ve felt his discomfort even when Ryan gets too close to him.

Self adulation time – after the American Idol Philadelphia auditions I’d thought Kristy was Top 12 finalist material. By the time the Top 10 were announced I felt Top 6 would be the basics for her. Well, she fell short by 1 week, but that’s ok as long as she makes some good records, country or otherwise.
