Tonight, watch Michael Johns – one of the Top 8 guys/boys contestants at American Idol 2008 Season 7 – sing the Simple Minds song Don’t You Forget About Me.
Randy Jackson messed up on this one suggesting that Johns had sung an INXS song. Agreed it does sound like a Michael Hutchence song. Anyway a pretty good performance. But those that have heard Michael Johns’ Hollywood Week performance of Bohemian Rhapsody will know he can do better.
