Well, over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been thinking Syesha Mercado is possibly going to be one of two people with their hands on the exit door. This week is no different. My problem this week is a problem I’ve had for some time with Syesha – not really her vocals, there were worse performances – it’s the ‘I’m even better than the singers I cover’ self-assurance. It’s about time the door was opened for her – but considering what happened with Michael Johns, you never know. Anymore.
